You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your Book!
Beloved, you are known of God more than you’ll ever know. Your relationship predates your birth. God made you for a reason and decided when you would be born and how long you would live. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death.
That’s why you and I must cherish every day of our lives. That’s why we must not take any day for granted. The Bible says, “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
Informed believers approach every day from this revelation. They know that none of us is an accident and the days of our lives are not random. There’s a reason why God wants you alive on earth today. There are things you must learn, do, demonstrate, contribute or change. There are people you must meet, influence, learn from, fellowship with, help or introduce to Jesus. God has a word in season for you everyday. Everyday matters!
Never waste any day, beloved. Begin and end each day with God. Let the Holy Spirit order your steps. Every conversation, interaction, encounter and appointment must glorify God. You can’t turn your walk with Christ on and off at will. Live every day for His glory. Even when you celebrate your birthday, do it as unto the Lord. Don’t disgrace His name of your birthday, as some do. Live for God every day!
