Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

What are “all these things” over which we are more than conquerors? The answer is in v35 which lists seven issues of ever-increasing intensity that cannot separate us from the love of Christ. Beloved, we are not just set up to conquer but to do much more. God defines us as hyper-conquerors or super-victors.

Among other things, you are indeed a super-victor if your gains far outweigh your costs. Now this is exactly the case for us. To start with, Jesus won it all for us at Calvary. He forgave all our trespasses, erased and nailed our certificate of debt to the cross and disarmed all demonic powers on our behalf (Col 2:13-15).

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, in order that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us (Gal 3:13-14). He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ep 1:3). Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2Co 4:17). I rest my case–we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us!

Therefore think like the super-victor you are, not like a victim. Serve the Lord from victory not for victory. When you pray, do so from a super-victory position. When you worship the Lord, do so from the perspective of a super-victor.
