And of His fullness have we all received, and grace for grace.
It’s appalling that many believers today live like they only received traces of Christ into their hearts! Yet the Bible teaches that Jesus came from heaven to earth FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH (John 1:14). In turn, if we received the real Jesus, we also received of His fullness. Therefore the life of every truly born-again Christian is also full of grace and truth.
That means Jesus’ abundant life, truth, wisdom, blessings, power and favour are ours. Practice thinking of yourself as a grace-loaded vessel. Acknowledge that God’s goodness and mercy overflow in and through your life (Psalm 23:6). Your life is a magnate of goodwill and blessing. Acknowledge that Christ in you is the hope of glory and that greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world (Col. 1:27; 1 John 4:4). Meditate on the fullness of all spiritual blessings in your life (see Ephesians 1:3).
Don’t think of yourself as some poor, struggling Christian soul, barely keeping your head above the water. Don’t limit the power and presence of Christ in you. Don’t diminish the magnitude of the anointing within you.
Reject lies, deception, pretence and folly. Constantly affirm Christ’s wisdom and revelation (truth) within you. Affirm your new nature in Christ. Then your life and faith will make an uncommon impact for God’s glory.
