Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
Today let us acknowledge God’s limitlessness and praise Him for that. Let us praise God because He always gives us more than we have bargained for. There are myriads of benefits, blessings and breakthroughs God has accorded us that have nothing to do with our intercessory or imaginative capacity!
When is the last time you prayed for the ability to breathe, to blink correctly, differentiate various colours or remember your name? We owe Him every breath that we take, every step we move, and our very sanity. We are what we are purely by the grace of God. Let us glorify Him.
Even when we think our prayers have not been answered, there are loads of things God does for us of which we have no clue and for which we haven’t asked or imagined. Let us have some humility brethren and stop thinking our blessings are a function of our effectiveness in prayer or of our smart thinking. Today let us give all the glory to God for His immeasurable gift and for His undeserved favour.
