For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.
Any Christians who find themselves being hostile, resentful or divisive must seriously ask themselves how come. If you find yourself being restless, joyless or loveless, ask yourself how come. If you find yourself being hateful, worrisome or subversive, ask yourself how come. Why?
Because those who have received the One who is the epitome of peace, the very Prince of Peace, the very Source of true peace, the Provider of peace beyond understanding, Jesus Christ-should be inherently peaceful. We should all be peacemakers by nature. There should be love among us. Peace, joy and happiness should be the order of the day in every Christian home, church and business.
Let us not tolerate that which Christ abolished at Calvary. Let us not rebuild the wall of enmity that Jesus destroyed on the Cross. Let us not build new walls of division, conflict and separation. Rather let us embrace the finished work of Christ and manifest it in our personal lives, families, churches, work and community. Let us repent from contradicting our new nature in Christ. Pastor Josh
