Hebrews 6:11-12
And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Dear Saints, in today’s text, we are urged to show diligence and imitate those who through faith and patience inherit God’s PROMISES. This divine blend of faith and patience is crucial as we navigate life’s challenges. Let us briefly consider these two powerful ingredients: FAITH and PATIENCE.

FAITH is our confident assurance in God’s promises, even when circumstances seem bleak. It’s trusting in God’s character, believing He is good and faithful. PATIENCE, on the other hand, is our steadfast endurance. It’s the ability to wait on God’s timing without losing heart, knowing that He works all things for our good. Patience says, “Even when I don’t see it, You’re working”, as the worship song (Way maker) says.

For example, consider the farmer who plants seeds and waits for the harvest. He doesn’t despair when he sees nothing sprout immediately. Instead, he trusts the process, knowing that growth is happening beneath the surface. Similarly, God is at work in our lives, often in ways we cannot see. Our role is to remain steadfast, holding onto His promises with unwavering faith and patient endurance.

As you face difficulties, remember that your breakthrough is coming. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let your heart be encouraged, knowing that through faith and patience, you will inherit the promises God has for you. Hang in there. Hold on to God’s faithfulness through it all. Never give up! May His peace and strength sustain you today and always. In Christ’s love,
