Luke 16:1, 10-11
He also said to the disciples, “There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was wasting his possessions. “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?

All we shall say today is that, as children of God, our relationship with money must be governed by the right mentality. According to the wisdom of God, each one of us is a steward or manager of Someone else’s assets.

In fact, God entrusted humanity with the responsibility to manage the earth in His behalf (Genesis 1:28). Today’s parable also teaches us that we are entrusted with oversight of wealth on God’s behalf.

That means all our money belongs to God. All our material possessions are actually His. Therefore, we must relate with His resources according to His will, not ours. Then He will reward us as only He can.
