“..if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith” (Rom 12:6b).
Prophecy is one of the most powerful and yet most misunderstood gifts in the church today. Its primary goal is not prediction or foretelling, but edification, encouragement & comfort (1 Co 14:3). God expects ALL believers to desire to prophesy (1 Co 14:1)! What would happen if more Christians spoke inspired words that build, encourage and comfort, than words that destroy, discourage and hurt? Will you let the Holy Spirit inspire YOU to bless and uplift others through prophetic utterance? Will you be a people-encourager, builder and comforter?
