“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:12).
One great way of following the Faith Models in Scripture is to imitate their attitudes. Many of the good things we’ve learned from childhood have been gained by simply copying our parents and community around us. We mustn’t lose that skill nor be lazy. But we must wisely choose worthy faith models to imitate. Refuse to imitate losers! I urge you to emulate Abel’s worthy worship, Enoch’s worthy walk, Noah’s worthy wait, Abraham’s friendship with God and Sarah’s age-defiance by faith, to name a few!
