“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1).
It’s true that the Lord Himself, Emmanuel is with us. It’s also true that we’ve angelic security all around us. But often we don’t realise that we’re surrounded by a “great cloud of witnesses”. That cloud comprises believers like us from all walks of life who overcame various challenges by faith. Like them we too will triumph by faith, against all odds. Hallelujah!!
