Yahweh replied, “I will be with you. You will defeat Midian as if it were only one man” (Judges 6:16).
According to popular psychology, Gideon’s low self-esteem should have been a huge limitation to his leadership and victory. Why wasn’t it? Because of the Yahweh factor. It’s our God’s nature to cause things to come to be. Just as He stood on the edge of nothing and spoke the universe into being, when He speaks into your life, ability happens. Actually, potential is overrated, when you think about it in light of Yahweh’s omnipotence! Stop worrying about your innate capacity. Start embracing the Yahweh factor. His words are spirit and life (John 6:63). When He says you can, His word creates that reality in you. So you CAN!
