“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem” (Mat 2:1).
Every human birth causes a stir in the baby’s family and community. What a stir the birth of this Child-King caused on the first Christmas! Yet many folks missed the significance of this divine event. The Eastern Magi didn’t. They gravitated to the right place at the right time. There’s a place that draws my heart strings this holy season. It’s not some club. It’s not some mall. It’s not some sunny beach. It’s the secret place. Let our hearts gravitate to the right place this holy season. That’s the right, wise move!
