And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority” (Acts 1:7).
What a sobering statement! These specially selected apostles must have been shocked to learn that certain info was outside the bounds of their knowledge. We too must be humble enough to accept that certain facts are “classified”. We mustn’t be so horoscopic that we neglect our Kingdom duties as we speculate over the times (chronos) and timing (kairos) of certain events in God’s calendar. Today, ask God to forgive you for a wrong focus and to help you grow and minister without distractions in our core business.
