“Have you not known? Have you not heard? Yahweh is the Eternal God, the Creator of the whole earth. He does not grow tired or weary; His understanding is unsearchable” (Isa 40:28).
This verse confronts the doubts afflicting ancient believers over the prospect of their redemption. I. God’s eternity reassures our faith in the face of our temporal issues. That means, inter alia, God fully knows our past, understands our present and holds our future. II. God’s proven creativity reassures our faith in the face of our earthly struggles. Where there’s no way, He’ll just create one. Let that be your portion today! III. God’s eternal vigour reassures our faith in the face of stubborn challenges. Although we may get frustrated and run out of steam, God never does! He never tires of hearing our prayers and blessing our lives. It’s never too much for Him! IV. God’s wisdom is illimitable and inscrutable. No complication disables Him to deliver on His promises. Trust Him!
