“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God” (Rom 4:20).

To waver is to go back and forth between choices or opinions. It means to be uncertain about what you think on something. So when you waver at God’s promises, you fluctuate in your allegiance and direction. Sometimes you affirm the promises but at other times you deny them.

It ought not to be so beloved! Hold on to the Word of God however long the delay may be. Regardless of how improbable it may seem, don’t stagger in your faith. Like Elijah, even if it takes seven times, keep expecting your rain (breakthrough) to manifest (1 Kings 18:43). It’s going to rain!
