“So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work” (Neh. 4:6).
So far in this unity series, we’ve touched on the wisdom of church health and the beauty of spiritual harmony.
Now we consider the power of Kingdom synergy. In our text, a daunting task became not only possible but also a living reality. Their secret was having a corporate mind to work. Contrast this with groups that have a mind to argue, a mind to criticise or a mind to destroy! How tragic it is that groups with tremendous potential often misdirect their energies! Consider the great cities, institutions and technologies others have achieved when they chose to work together.
I wonder what historic feats your group, family or church will achieve in our time when you choose to synergise! Will you develop an attitude of working together with others?
