2 Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Just as one’s spirit-man is in desperate need of divine preservation in these perilous times, so is one’s mind or soul (1 Th. 5:23). The serpent is still in the business of deceiving and corrupting human minds through his evil craftiness (2 Cor. 11:3). “Therefore guard your minds, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Pet 1:13).
