Do the first works…
After realising your problem and repenting of it, you must then DO something. That’s the third step to recovering your first love. It’s about renewing your commitment to the good things you used to do that added value to your fellowship with Jesus. For instance this may mean getting back to the early morning prayers or to regular giving and tithing or to the voracious study of the Bible you used to do. For some it may mean quitting certain habits, activities or programmes. Do what adds value to your fellowship with Christ. Ditch everything that hinders your relationship. It’s worth it.
