1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Today we remember the finished work of Jesus at Calvary with respect to three benefits. First, because He bore our sins we don’t have to bear them any longer. No more guilt and condemnation! Second, having died to sin with Him, we also live for righteousness through Him. Third, we are healed–spirit, soul and body. Hallelujah!
