1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.
Beloved, the danger of falling away from the faith–that is, backsliding or apostasy–is real for all end-time believers. We can’t sit around and just hope that it will not affect us. We shouldn’t assume that any of us is automatically safe or immune.
Today, in the name of Jesus I come against the spirit of backsliding that afflicts many believers. Through the blood of the Lamb of God I reverse the tide of rebellion against God, His word and His Church that affects so many otherwise good Christians today. Every root of apostasy, disobedience and stubbornness is uprooted in Jesus’ mighty name.
In the name of Jesus I render null and void every worldly snare, every form of satanic seduction and demonic doctrine that snuffs the saints’ zeal for the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. In Jesus’ name I decree and declare that every one of our prodigal sons and daughters is coming to their senses and rushing back home to the Father’s loving arms.
Will you pray this prayer and make these confessions with me? Your and others’ survival may depend on it.
