John 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Beloved, God wants your faith to count. Your Christian walk must have a cutting edge. Your spiritual life must be valid and effective. Your faith will be red-hot only if you have the real Jesus Christ within you. Which Jesus have you received?
In our day and age their are many false “messiahs” and numerous “Christian” heresies. If you receive a false Christ, you become a false Christian. If you receive a diminished Jesus, your brand of Christianity will be weak. In short, the quality of your spirituality reflects your Christology.
We must double check whether we have received the real Jesus Christ–the Word (Logos) who was there in the beginning with God and was God, through whom all things were made, and without whom nothing was made that was made (John 1:1-3). Don’t settle for a watered-down Gospel. Don’t settle for a diluted Christ who was just a prophet, philosopher, teacher or good man.
Have you received the real, preexistent, incarnate, Son of God, the Creator of all creation, who became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth? The real Jesus is God; He is the omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God the Son. His presence in your life makes all the difference. His residence in you gives you Kingdom rights (John 1:12). When you pray in His name, things happen. Your faith counts!
